INDIANAPOLIS 500 PRACTICE

Indy 500 practice day is the most first thing during the indy 500 event. Every indy racers start practicing with their car in the indy 500 race track. This year the practice day will begin for five days. Indianapolis 500 practice day start time and end time details are here with an admission fee.

Practice Day 1 August 12

There will be a $15 admission fee. Kids under 16 will have the chance to watch the practice for free. However, they have to be in the company of an adult.

MILLER LITE CARB DAY

The Miller Lite Carb Day is scheduled for Friday, August 21, 2020. There will be a $30 admission fee. However, the Freedom 100 race won’t go on as it does since the Indy Lights season for the 2020 session was canceled due to Corona Virus (Covid-19).

LEGENDS DAY PRESENTED BY FIRESTONE

The legends day opens up on Saturday, May 23, 2020. The public gates will open for everyone. There will be a $10 admission for adults, while anyone that’s at 15 and under will access the venue for free so long as they are accompanied by an adult.

  • 08:00 am – 06:00 pm: Public Gates Open
  • 09:00 am – 10:00 am: Full Field Autograph Session
  • 10:30 am – 11:00 am: Drivers Meeting

NOTE: The Drivers Meeting is an event that takes place right on the main track. The event goes ahead in front of the Tower Terrace, and all the 33 drivers will sit on the stand set up around the pit wall while facing the main audience.
The meeting takes about one hour long in the morning to allow the drivers some time to cool off and to attend the Indy 500 Festival Parade. Indy Car race director will also discuss the race rules and set guidelines with all drivers in the last moments of this event.

INDIANAPOLIS 500 PRESENTED BY GAINBRIDGE (Race Day)

The race day takes place on Sunday, August 23, 2020. The event has a schedule of its own that runs along to the main event. The gates are opened around 6 am.
